An accident that killed three Jamesport, Mo., residents recently has raised questions about vehicle safety. A 1969 Chevrolet grain truck caused the accident when it lost its left rear tandem as it slowed to turn onto a Missouri rural road. "That truck was old, and I just wonder if this kind of thing could have been prevented," said Bryan Carmenati.

The Vice President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is set to commission the production lines of the new Peugeot 307Sedan at the premises of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited, (PAN) Kakuri, Kaduna on Monday. When commissioned, PAN will produce about 22 units of the car daily and 7,000 cars yearly. The cars will come in manual and tiptroanic (manual and auto combined) gear levers.  

A tow truck driver was pinned as he tried to hook up a second truck, but he was rescued by a man passing by. The 27-year-old driver was hooking a FedEx truck up near 1900 South and 4500 West when he accidentally pushed a lever, which released the truck, causing it to pin the man, said Salt Lake Police Lt. Scott White. A passer-by heard his screams for help and followed the injured man's instructions to pull the truck back up, releasing him from the crushing weight.  

I'm 6ft 6in tall and my three teenage sons are heading the same way. Our current cars (Saab 9-5 and Vauxhall Zafira) are reaching the point where we can't accommodate the whole family. The Zafira has more space but is not so good for longer journeys.  

Two truck accidents within a half-mile spilled diesel fuel on Interstate 95 and into the Mamaroneck River Friday morning, officials said. The accidents occurred northbound around Exit 18. A tractor-trailer hit the jersey barrier on the side of the road at 5 a.m., then a car carrier hit the barrier at 8 a.m., rupturing the vehicles' fuel tanks.

Okay, Ford didn't take the government dough and didn't go bankrupt. That's good. But the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord each outsell the Ford Fusion at least two to one in the mid-size segment.
